The detailed conference program will be available shortly.
The Gaining Ground program will be organized to deal
with a number of current challenges facing developers, property
service companies, financial institutions and portfolio investors:
-
Where can we find the people who can translate sustainability
into new market mechanisms?
-
How do we build a clear ‘picture’ of sustainability
that will powerfully communicate the why and the
what, and lead us to the how?
-
How do we align policy and the market capacity for innovation,
so that policymakers will choose to encourage positive market
initiatives and resist regulatory blankets?
-
Can we bring analytical rigor to the question: “How,
in the sustainability framework, can we do well by doing good?”
-
How do we expand the circle of early adopters, so no one feels
that they’re going it alone or expensively charting
new territory?
-
How do we propel learning and uptake within our organizations?
-
Where and what are the successful models we can adopt and
adapt?
-
How can we take on sustainability principles and practices
without turning or organization or operations upside down?
-
Value, value, value…where, and in what ways, does the
business case solidly support sustainability choices?
